Produce Vouchers


The United Way Produce Voucher Program is a community initiative designed to help individuals and families access fresh fruits and vegetables. Through this program, participants receive vouchers that can be redeemed at the Waverly Fareway Store.


The goal is to improve nutrition, promote healthy eating habits, and reduce food insecurity among low-income households.

Program Description:

Program is available for households in Bremer County, Shell Rock, and Clarksville who are experiencing food insecurity.


Program Stats:

  • $1,500 distributed in 2025. Through a partnership with St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waverly, egg vouchers were also distributed for Easter.

  • Vouchers typically available June 1-September 30, while supplies last
